Basic Trade-In is a service that lets shoppers sell their used products during a new purchase on your website. Shoppers get a valuation, complete their purchase, ship the used item after, and receive payment once it's inspected.
What is the difference between Ealyx Pay and Ealyx Basic Trade-In?
With Ealyx Pay, the trade-in value is applied as an instant discount at checkout — the shopper pays less right away. With Basic Trade-In, the shopper completes the purchase at full price and receives payment for their used item separately, once it has been inspected.
How does a shopper submit a product for Basic Trade-In?
During checkout, the shopper describes their used item using Ealyx's valuation widget. They receive an instant estimate, complete their purchase, and then ship the item using a prepaid label provided by the Buyback Partner.
How long does the shopper have to ship their used item?
The shopper has 3 calendar days from receiving the valuation to ship the item. If they miss this deadline, the offer expires.
What happens if the used product's condition doesn't match the description?
The Buyback Partner will issue a revised second offer reflecting the actual condition. The shopper can accept the new offer or reject it and have the item returned at no cost.
Is Basic Trade-In available in Spain and France?
Yes. Basic Trade-In is currently available for shoppers resident in Spain and France.
